Happy customers leave in silence

A happy guest rarely opens the maps to praise you — an unhappy one writes right away. So your rating doesn’t reflect reality, and you find out about a bad review a week later, opening your listing by chance.

Mikhail Zolotarev, founder of get5stars

“I run several offline businesses, and I always saw how much reviews move revenue. Asking for them out loud feels awkward, and buying them feels wrong.

I wanted guests to be glad they left a review — so I built the prize wheel.

Today every one of my venues sits at a 5.0 rating with hundreds of real reviews. You can get there too.”

Why it works

It’s not the gift — it’s the reason

A plain “gift for a review” nudges people to praise for the bonus — and platforms penalise that. We give a prize for the fact of an honest review with any rating; what to write is up to the guest.

What everyone does

“A gift for a review”

The guest reads it as: the gift is for praise. Reviews come out forced, and rewarding positivity only is what platforms treat as fakery.

What we do

“Honest review — guaranteed prize”

Every guest gets the prize with any rating; a 1★ counts the same as a 5★. We don’t read the text, the platform decides on publishing — the mechanic stays inside the rules.

How it works

Four steps to a review

One path links it all: the guest scans the code, leaves an honest review, it shows up on the maps — and lands in your chat as a notification.

  1. 01 Scan at the counter The guest scans the QR on the table or receipt — no apps, a couple of seconds.
  2. 02 Honest review They leave a review on the maps with any rating — a 1★ counts the same as a 5★.
  3. 03 Prize on the wheel They spin the wheel right on their phone and claim a guaranteed gift via a one-time code.
  4. 04 Review — in your Telegram Every new review on the maps lands in your chat right away — you reply while it’s fresh.
Why

What your location gets

More reviews on the maps
A prize is a friendly nudge to talk about you. Reviews that used to stay in the guest’s head show up on the maps. Any rating, a guaranteed prize — honest reviews build up on their own.
Unhappy guests reach you first
1–3 ★ a message straight to the owner
4–5 ★ links to the maps

Every guest gets the prize whatever the rating, and anyone can publish their review on the maps.

Staff don’t have to ask
The QR sign collects reviews on its own — no awkward reminders. Your team looks after guests instead of chasing ratings.
Guests feel heard
Even an unhappy guest leaves feeling their opinion mattered: review left, prize claimed, and the criticism reached you personally.
A reason to come back
The prize often redeems with you — a discount or treat on the next visit. So the guest returns instead of leaving for good.
5 minutes to launch

Stickers, table tents, a poster — ready-made layouts in your dashboard.

Review tracking

Never miss a review again

Every new review on the platforms arrives in Telegram by itself. Where exactly is up to you: direct messages or a group, with its own setting per location. You get to reply while the review is still fresh.

Routing on your terms
For each location you choose where alerts go: a direct chat or a group. Want everything in one place? Point them all at a shared chat.
No manual rounds
No more logging into platform dashboards to check by hand — new reviews find you on their own.
A quiet start
Old reviews won’t come crashing in: when you connect a listing we mark them as read, and from then on you only get new ones.
More than the wheel
A wheel, a single prize, or just review collection — you pick the format and switch anytime.

“Is this even legal? Will I get banned?”

The prize is for a review, not a rating We never ask to see the review The platform decides on each review

Allowed by the platforms’ rules

Yandex Maps

The rules explicitly allow thanking guests for a review. Only one thing is banned — paying for praise alone, and with us every guest gets the prize whatever the rating.

A reward for a review (e.g., a discount) is allowed — “don’t leave only a positive comment for the sake of a bonus.”

— Yandex Maps rules

2GIS

The rules explicitly describe our mechanic as allowed: rewarding honest reviews with any rating — from 1 to 5 stars.

“Motivating… truthful reviews with any rating (from 1 to 5 stars). Rewarding only positive reviews is not allowed — that counts as bribery.”

— 2GIS rules

As always, whether each individual review gets published is up to the platform’s moderation — nobody can guarantee its decision, and neither can we. Our job is to keep the mechanic strictly inside the rules, and that’s exactly how it’s built.

We don’t hide negative reviews: an unhappy guest writes to you personally — by their own choice, not because they were filtered out. Hiding reviews by a platform’s rating is forbidden; inviting honest reviews with any rating is allowed.

Fake reviews: bought reviews from fake accounts. Platforms ban listings for that.
get5stars: real guests and any ratings — we don’t even look at what the guest wrote.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal / not against the platforms' rules?

Yes. Both platforms explicitly allow thanking guests for an honest review with any rating — what’s forbidden is paying for praise only, and we don’t do that. The full quotes from their rules are in the “Is this even legal?” section above. As always, publishing each review is up to the platform’s moderation.

Will my listing get banned or blocked?

Bans are for bought positivity — fake reviews and paid five-stars. Our mechanic works differently: the prize is for the fact of a review, any rating counts, and nobody has to show their review. That’s exactly the format the platforms’ rules allow. Nobody can guarantee a platform’s moderation call, but we stay strictly inside its rules.

Will customers actually scan the QR?

QR codes are second nature by now: per the Central Bank, half of Russians paid via QR in late 2025. And here the scan comes with a prize.

I’m not technical — will this eat my time?

Signing up takes a couple of minutes, launch takes about five: add prizes, download the QR, print it. If anything doesn’t work — message us on Telegram and we’ll set it up together.

Can’t I just make a QR code myself, for free?

The QR code — sure. But on its own it gives the guest no reason to act: scan, look, leave. The wheel adds the incentive — a guaranteed prize — plus code-and-PIN control over prize handout and ready-made promo rules compliant with advertising law.

Do I have to use the wheel?

No. The wheel is the most engaging format, but not the only one: you can hand out a single fixed prize with no wheel, or just collect reviews with no prizes at all. You pick the format in the dashboard and switch anytime — one subscription price covers all three.

We already have the free Yandex Business dashboard — why pay?

Yandex’s dashboard shows reviews from Yandex only. get5stars gathers Yandex and 2GIS into one Telegram chat and delivers every new review by itself — no logging in and checking.

How fast will I find out about a new review?

Listings are checked automatically several times a day — active ones more often. A new review reaches your Telegram the same day.

What happens after the 14 days?

The trial is 14 days and up to 5 listings, no card needed. After that — a subscription from ₽290/mo, or a pause: without payment notifications stop, but your settings and sources are kept. Come back and everything switches right back on.
